Electronic Logs: Replace Paper with Productivity

Available On Demand

Pharma companies utilize a vast amount of paper to track equipment usage, cleaning processes, and room entries among other processes. These paper logs can be related to a manufacturing batch, but often are for supporting functions surrounding a batch process. They are reviewed on a variety of cycles including daily, weekly, monthly or when a log page is full. This data has a major impact on the release of quality products and investigations when something goes wrong.

During this presentation we will discuss:

  • Types of logs utilized in and around the manufacturing process.
  • Real-world examples of importance of logs to deviations and batch processes
  • The review process for paper records, is it fast enough?
  • How should electronic logs help?
  • What should you look for in an electronic log solution?

Can you navigate moving from a paper based or out dated system to newer technologies?

How do you select and implement solutions that will replace paper and maximize your productivity?

Attendees will be able to evaluate the current paper log processes and systems in their facilities and understand the steps needed to bring the facility up to date. Ultimately, what is the cost of paper in your process?

The presentation lasts 45 minutes and is followed by a live Q&A session.
